Job Description:

• Design and develop highly scalable cloud based web applications and tools
• Be responsible for the technical design, implementation while aligning to best practices
• Deliver quality code that is tested, secure, and performant on a global scale
• Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
• Create and maintain documentation and knowledge bases
• Support and assist team in various development and IT tasks
• Work with the project manager to provide accurate estimates and create timelines for software solutions
• Create Mockups and drafts for dashboards, pages, applications, or solutions

Desired Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in the technology sector
• Experience in one or more of the following: AngularJS, Polymer, Backbone, Ember, Dojo, Node.js
• Knowledge of UI testing frameworks (eg. Jasmine, JSCoverage, WCT, Protractor)
• Experience in building rich, single-page applications using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript consuming RESTful APIs and JSON
• Experience with responsive web design
• Understanding of UX principles and best practices
• Strong problem solving abilities and good communication skills in articulating specific technical topics or assignments
• Experience in building highly scalable distributed web applications, edge caching.
• Experience with Agile (Scrum) best practices, test driven development and version control (e.g. git)
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design and Software Design Patterns
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Effective decision-making skills
• Analytical skills to evaluate data and current application logic
